Adirondack Trio

Price: $ 1,500.00

This Adirondack furniture set is based on a classic design created by master woodworker Norm Abram for his popular PBS-syndicated TV show,  The New Yankee Workshop. Aired in season number two, the Trio design became one of the show's most popular projects of all time. It's easy to see why: can you imagine a more comfortable perch for reading on the patio, or summertime sippin' on a gin and tonic?

Details include:

  • Weather-proof adhesives
  • Weather-proof screws
  • Plugged screw holes
  • Hand-built from weather-resistant materials (mahogany or river-reclaimed cypress)

River-reclaimed cypress is sometimes also called river-recovered cypress, sinker cypress, deadhead cypress, old-growth cypress, and virgin cypress. It is recovered from the waterways of the American Southeast. Much of it dating back 400-to-500 years, river-reclaimed cypress represents the heaviest, best, oiliest cypress logs, which sank to the bottom while being floated to market. For simple beauty and outdoor weather resistance, it's tough to beat river-reclaimed cypress.
